Did you know? South Korea hosts one of the largest Easter parades in the world right in the center of Seoul. The Gwanghwamun Easter Parade is a massive cultural event with participation from 73 Korean denominations, and it's a relatively new tradition (started in 2023) to turn Resurrection Sunday into a major public festival rather than just a private church service. This year is especially significant because it marks exactly 140 years since the first Protestant missionaries arrived in Korea. The parade route covers the entire Sejong-daero area, featuring everything from biblical floats to K-pop performances, and it’s expected to draw hundreds of thousands of spectators throughout the day. King Charles announces he won’t deliver any Easter message this year. Back in 1993 he stated: "Islam is part of our past and present. It created a modern Europe. Islam teaches us all lessons that Christianity has lost.” I think it’s safe to say he converted to Islam long ago.
