I think she can have a backbone when it comes to Jax but also not be downright cruel. I think Ragatha still wants to have that friendship with Jax that was sort of there early on, but she wouldn’t allow herself to be put down or berated anymore.

Quote-ception here but the biggest thing I see is some character conflict happening between Jax & the others (particularly Gangle and Ragatha) but even despite the friction I want things to heal and get better between them

NO GUARANTEE ITLL HAPPEN ANYWAY because I AM still recovering from some pretty wicked art school burnout and I’m trying to be very careful to make sure I pace myself so that I don’t end up deep in that pit again. But the idea is interesting

I kinda wanna do some more drawings/comics digging into how I think this would play out but I’m terrified that I’ll become a fandom talking point if my vision is different from other people’s 😭😭😭

@8BitRay I love Jax so so much as a character and I really think she had the best tragedy arc I’ve seen in a while. It hurt, and I’m happy that it did. Also euwrhgdh this isn’t me countering you or anything sorry LOLLL I just started rambling hehe i loveee this showwww

@8BitRay It tells me that Gooseworx was able to achieve the story that she wanted to tell. It’s so hard to kill off a character when you know they could’ve been so much more, but that’s how it happens in real life. You die with things unfinished and the world keeps turning anyway.

hearing that jax coming back undermines the story makes so much sense but it also hurts so much to hear :(
