A man with Coca Cola socks and a pride bucket hat followed and eventually approached us to initiate a conversation so we interviewed him. He immediately articulated his support for political violence. When I asked him about Charlie Kirk he said that his assassination was funny going as far as to reenact it. I asked if his derangement stemmed from trauma he sustained as a little kid. Unsurprisingly, he confirmed that to be the case. As I was walking away, he grabbed me by my neck. I immediately ripped his hand off my neck and maintained space to scan for possible weapons, aggressive behavior, and threats. Do you think the man grabbing my neck was a parapraxis, or a physical Freudian Slip, revealing darker intentions to hurt me? Did his mask briefly slip?
