IS @OPSEU INSTITUTIONALLY ANTISEMITIC? You be the judge. OPSEU hired campaign officer Rawan Qaddoura despite a publicly documented social-media history that included: “Every time I read about Hitler, I fall in love all over again.” “I honestly wish I was born at the time of the Second World War just to see the genius, Hitler, at work.” “I just don’t like Jews.” “The whole world is controlled by Zionist Jews.” These posts were documented by @canarymission and publicly reported by @bnaibrithcanada years before OPSEU hired her. When they resurfaced, OPSEU reviewed the matter, characterized the posts as youthful misconduct—and kept her employed. Now compare my treatment. I was a professor with a 15-year career. I condemned Hamas and compared it to the Nazis—a comparison grounded in Hamas’s ideological ancestry through the Muslim Brotherhood and its historical connections to Nazi Germany. For that, OPSEU representatives accused me of committing a “hate crime.” OPSEU then refused, in writing, to represent me, abandoned my grievance and left me defenceless while Humber College and the University of Guelph destroyed my career. Now @OPSEU, under President @JPHornick, is fighting me at the Ontario Labour Relations Board alongside Humber College, @uofg and @UofGHstudents . Roughly eight lawyers are involved, and hundreds of thousands of dollars may be spent fighting one dismissed professor whose supposed offence was condemning Hamas. Consider the contrast: Praise Hitler and declare that you dislike Jews: forgiveness, continued employment and institutional protection. Condemn Hamas and compare it to Nazis: accused of a hate crime, denied union representation, terminated and subjected to years of litigation. Meanwhile, OPSEU has embraced BDS under @JPHornick, while Jewish OPSEU members have brought human-rights complaints alleging antisemitism within the union. This is not merely hypocrisy. It is a complete moral inversion. OPSEU’s conduct tells us that praising Hitler can be forgiven—but condemning Hamas may cost you your career. Is OPSEU institutionally antisemitic? Look at whom it protects. Look at whom it punishes. Then decide. @canarymission @bnaibrithcanada @CIJAinfo #Antisemitism #OPSEU #InstitutionalAntisemitism

Trudeau and Singh are still attention-seekers. This is part of Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD), as is the need to be around people who are important or special. Their virtue-signalling in office was less empathy for the poor than a strategy to be part of the elite.

The Rainbow and the Scimitar open.substack.com/pub/paulfinlay… Why do trans activists march for Hamas—a movement whose worldview would deny them dignity, freedom, and perhaps life itself? “Because they are uninformed” is too easy. Ignorance may explain the slogan, but not the zeal, the costumes, the moral vanity, or the determination to romanticize people who despise everything they claim to represent. This article—now free of the paywall—examines the stranger truth: how ideology can become so intoxicating that people will publicly enlist against their own liberties and call the surrender virtue.

The Carney Paradox open.substack.com/pub/paulfinlay… Imagine five houses on a Canadian street. One family loses its job, its savings, its children’s opportunities, and finally its home. The other four families are doing fine. So the government wins re-election. That is the Carney Paradox: a country can be in statistical decline for years before enough voters experience it personally to care.

Abby Martin shows a 4-second clip of an Israeli man saying he wants to "wipe them out." His name is Avida Bachar. He lived in Kibbutz Be'eri. Until October 7th. His wife was murdered. His son died in his arms. She didn't tell you that. @DoubleDownNews @AbbyMartin

@GadSaad Posts like this single out a religious minority and encourage suspicion over how they dress. I don't see the point. If someone's clothing doesn't affect you, let them live their life.

We were driving Downtown Montréal today. We saw four veiled women strolling together, one of whom was completely covered in a black tent. There were only glasses protruding from the slight of her eyes. Do you think that this is a sartorial garb that reveals anything about the religion or it's nothing more than garb?

60% approval proves very little. Economics is lived in the particular, not the aggregate. If one family on a five-house street loses everything, 80% may still say life is fine—until it’s their turn. Canada’s problem is a collapse of empathy: “I’m alright, so the country must be.” Too many journalists mistake branding for analysis and advocacy for reporting.

60% of Canadians approve of @MarkJCarney's handling of the economy. That's despite his first year posting the worst economic growth of any prime minister since 1963, according to Nanos Research.

🚨40% of Canadian businesses are reportedly considering relocating to the U.S.🇺🇸 That should alarm every Canadian. Businesses don’t move because they hate Canada. They move when capital, talent and opportunity are easier to find elsewhere. If this trend continues, Canada won’t just lose companies. We’ll lose jobs, investment and future tax revenue.

“Stories involving needles keep coming up" Jewish patients in Australian hospitals keep experiencing the same thing: once the medical professional treating them realizes they are Jewish, they reportedly struggle to insert IVs. “It is an easy way to make someone suffer, and there is always an explanation: ‘I couldn’t find the vein,'" said Nurit Haddad, a mental-health nurse in New South Wales, who said she had heard multiple similar stories. That is not the only example of antisemitism in Australian hospitals. After the Bondi Beach attack, one doctor allegedly described those who attended a memorial as “Zionists supporting genocide.” In Sydney, a Jewish women who gave birth via caesarean section was allegedly left for hours without pain relief. She was reportedly lying in her own blood, while her newborn cried beside her. In Melbourne, a woman was reportedly mocked for seeking mental health support after her family members in Israel were killed in Hamas's October 7th attack on Israel. “This is not a competition of tragedies,” she said. “We are all suffering, and I simply needed help dealing with my grief.” “Patients are extremely vulnerable in hospital,” one midwife said. “Doctors, nurses and midwives hold enormous power over them.” These are only some of the stories that have recently come to light. Medical antisemitism must be stopped.

Isn’t the issue that when people hang on to their job, or they are retired and financially secure, they don’t care that 40% (for example) are struggling. Financial pain is always focused, averages don’t matter. They are doing fine, the hell with everyone else, and so they support carney.
