The problem with Ament doubters is they are trying to view him as a main focal point. But if you view him as a connector. Which is how I view him. The vision becomes clearer. 4th or 5th starter on a team that already has an offensive engine, secondary scorer, and someone to control the paint on both ends. He’s a no brainer to me. Let him run, space , and operate against single coverage, out of empty pnr, or as short roll playmaker. You have a really good starter with a sky high ceiling.

I wish folks would do more deep dives into why a player is good vs coming up with NBA comps. Acuff is interesting b/c I dont think his handle is extremely advanced, nor is he explosive or a real creative passer - but he has four micro-skills that stand out as absolutely elite!
