@vcrlter this result is so interesting! and it suggests the 2015 heat stress didn't affect the outer meadow edge, otherwise those areas might still be recovering... what a great multiple stressor experiment in the field!

The central meadow recovered linearly in 24 months, and the edge was estimated to need 158 months to recover. Differences were due to #hydrodynamic stress at the edge.
Result suggests that while heatwaves drive change in #seagrass density, #recovery is driven by hydrodynamics.
