Argentinian #Borges, heavily influenced by his grandmother from #Hanley #stokeontrent The points he makes about English were echoed by Gabriel Garcia Marquez who felt the language ‘crystallised’ his ideas in the process of translation from Spanish.

Yesterday was heaven. @violincase and I spontaneously decided to take a Bach organ fugue & turn it into a duet for violin & organ - this was our first time trying it out. Such fun experimenting & responding to each other in real time ❤️ I learnt so much from this!!

I posted yesterday about a cat saved from the rubble in Turkey who refused to leave his rescuer's side.
The rescuer's name is Ali Cakas and he adopted the cat, naming him Enkaz - "rubble" in Turkish.
May they have a happy life together!
