Fair Play to the Irish Daily Mail for highlighting this. Irish Government officials are off to Cannes to sell out our citizens by begging Wealthy Investment Funds to grab as many of our newly built apartments and houses as they can. The result will be less apartments and houses for first time buyers and mind boggling profits for the fat cat Investors. We in Wicklow County Council are the only County in Ireland to prevent these Funds buying new apartments in bulk. It is time for every County to do the same and force this disastrous Government to fund a nationwide public affordable and social housing programme to meet the needs of ordinary people of this country.
