Yields go vertical. And when yields go vertical, EVERYTHING that has been priced on "rates will stay low forever" breaks. Commercial real estate. Regional banks. Private credit. Corporate debt. Mortgage markets. Government interest payments. The carry trades the hedge funds have been sleeping on for four years. All of it. Cracked at the foundation in a single quarter.
