Hey there @WCCO @kstp and @kare11 feel free to stop being a nuisance in the sky and actually send some reporters down here to build relationships and talk to community members about why we’re here. Holding law enforcement to account is difficult to do from the sky.

Crowds spontaneously form all the time for different reasons. It’s only the protests against the violence of police that get an immediate, war-like response from the police & military

Do we have a right to freedom of assembly or not? How can the very police department that is being protested have the unquestioned authority to declare the protest against it illegal? That’s a political act on the part of the police.

It’s been 1.5 hours on this bus. We’re tired and packed in there is no climate control so we’re dehydrated / overheating in multiple layers of thick coats and jackets. The bus has only moved forward half a block.

Per police scanner in Brooklyn Center protestors arrested with a gas mask in their possession will be charged with a felony.

They detained me with my backpack still on. The zip ties behind my back were so tight my hands became swollen. It took comrades yelling for them to re-cuff me. They took their damn time and had me wait 15 minutes alone all while my circulation was being cut off.

Too many arrested for them to put in cells. They’ll be letting us out of the bus tonight. We’ve been charged with gross misdemeanors ? Unsure
