Storm Update 10:30 PM: AES Indiana crews are fully staffed responding to outages across our service territory. Damage is widespread, and our first priority is keeping our crews and customers safe as we assess an area before restoring power. This includes removing debris and de-energizing power lines. We have restored power to nearly 17,000 customers, and there are approximately 51,600 customers still impacted. AES Indiana crews will continue to work throughout the night as safely and quickly as possible.

I travel Indiana’s 92 counties all the time, and I know how important it is for a community to have great roads and bridges. These $200 million Community Crossings matching grants will go to improve local roads and bridges across the state and improve quality of life for Hoosiers.

@clairerafford Yes - this means that the Senate disagrees with the changes that were made in the House, therefore sending the bill to conference committee to work out the differences.

An update to the update: Seeing that a motion to dissent was filed on SB8, the bill that would allow four-year colleges to award some associate degrees Maybe statehouse types can answer for me - does this mean the bill goes to conference committee? or is there a vote still
