@midwestern_baby When you don’t have to think about what you’re going to eat for dinner, do I have clean clothes, is the bathroom cleaned- it makes it easier to get more done. Now you have to take care of yourself and do those thibgs, it’s a lot. So I don’t know that you are aware of it

@lindzgrace i wouldn’t be 1/4 of the person i am today without my mother’s support and back-breaking work. she never said a word about how much she busted her ass for our family, but i have never not been outwardly grateful and aware of it.

@midwestern_baby My point is, you were able to do all those things in high school because your food, laundry, shelter was all taken care of. You were using someone else’s mental labor, which is what everyone does and it fine, and able to focus on more things.
