From #ReadingFC's 24/25 accounts: RFC have bought 3 players since the end of 24/25 for a total of £761,250, and sold 3 for £1.8m. Not sure when this covers (prob not 2026), so perhaps... Lane, Marriott, Patton, Knibbs, Craig and Wareham? (Compensation for latter two).

@pott95 Feels like we could easily get stuck back in the loop we had of the last 10 years of a manager doing a good job for 6 months, bad job for 6 months, getting sacked to repeat the same cycle. Best seasons the last decade have been when we've appointed a manager over the summer.

The most concerning thing about these results isn’t the performance. It’s the fact that our owners are still going to blindly trust Richardson with signings in the summer. Pointless when we inevitably sack him in October/November after a poor start. #readingfc

@TheTilehurstEnd Very favourable set of half time scores for us with Wycombe, Bradford, Bolton and Plymouth all losing. Win here would be massive putting us up into 5th with a bit more breathing space from the chasing sides. Just need to win, not much else matters.

@mrblthomas Games between now and Easter Monday are the big ones now, last few games of the season after that look pretty favourable for us, hopefully we'll put ourselves in a better position than last year going into the last few games.

Of all the games to get us into the Top 6 why did it have to be that one. Make sure we don't lose to Stevenage on Saturday and then bear Huddersfield on Good Friday and we then have a very nice looking run in once Lincoln is out of the way. #Readingfc

Joel charges out, gets the ball but falls down, accidentally handles it well outside the area, officials don't spot it...

Good game for Patton to make his first start in. Small crowd in a small stadium against a weaker side should make bridging that gap between National League and League 1 a little bit easier. #Readingfc

@HLTCO Have to give his agent some credit with putting those release clauses in, they've both probably helped him in being able to move to the right club at the right time rather than getting lost at a club that's too big for him too early.

@Dubstep1988 We also had enough big openings in their box where we were just incapable of pulling the trigger and smashing it into the back of the net. Another standard League 1 game all things considered.

Really annoying defeat that. Easy to blame the pitch, but it was the same for both sides and Mansfield dealt with it better. They tried to play the game in our half and for some reason, we did too. #readingfc

Awful second half - very possibly the worst 45 of this season Not just ineffective individually and tactically, but so, so, SO error prone and sloppy. Not specific individuals - pretty much the lot Painful viewing

Season was never going to be defined by a Tuesday night in Mansfield, but a win tonight would have made so many other things easier come the end of the season. Still looking for the first back to back away wins of the season and now probably need to win on Saturday #Readingfc

@glockersontour @ElmParkRoyals We've lost twice in our last 16 games now, haven't lost at home since August and there's only 11 games left. Compared to that it would take a pretty significant turn in form for us not to get enough points for playoffs.
