I just pushed out PicoGK 2.1, and a new chapter in my open-access book, Coding for Engineers, which teaches you how to write Computational Engineering Models, like we build at @leap_71. Computational Engineering is the biggest leap for engineering since the invention of CAD.

Our entire technology stack is based on PicoGK (“peacock”), a compact and robust geometry kernel we open sourced in 2023. We just released PicoGK 2.1 as a NuGet package. The rover wheels shown in the image were generated by a PicoGK example project we released on our GitHub.

I set 7 cameras near the pad for starship’s 12th test flight. In a first for me, all 7 got INCREDIBLE photos. Here’s a little peak at one… but there are a lot more. I’ll post some of my favorites tomorrow, and release at least one in print.

Man’s greatest asset is an unsettled mind.

Our models incorporate engineering logic, first principles physics, manufacturing constraints, practical feedback into a coherent deterministic computational model. That model outputs manufacturable files from abstract specs without further human input. It also predicts how the object will perform. We then test it to validate these predictions. @leap_71 @linkayser From your posts and your website, you are not doing any computational engineering. You are confusing the whole community by wrongly using the term "Computational Engineering".

Yep. People need to visit China to calibrate their infrastructure ambitions. Most people have no idea that you can build things like that in a short amount of time - and run it smoothly. You can also visit Dubai if China is too far away.

AI just designed a full rocket engine in 2 weeks! No copying old blueprints. It explored wild geometries that humans rarely imagine. Engineers 3D-printed it, and it fired. All hail our machine overlords! 😱

Our 200 kN Aerospike rocket engine showcased at the @aspirespaceuae booth at @miiteuae trade show in Abu Dhabi this week. This engine burning cryogenic methane and liquid oxygen will power the upper stage of the Aspire Oryx fully reusable rocket ship.
