From the religion POV, Iran and her supreme leader are really terrible beings. However, from the economic/survival/logical POV, they're really fighting a just cause. And yes, they're right to strike Saudi Arabia and other neighboring middle-eastern countries that have the US military bases. This is war. You don't throw caution to the wind. Many Sunni are actually becoming emotional when Iran struck Saudi military base, but that's how it is. The friend of my enemy is my enemy. Saudi is an ally of the US and US is an arch-enemy of Iran. Another thing to note is that: The war is less of the Sunni versus Shia divides, it is more of economic, political and international power play. US are up to no good though. In fact, they are worse. Iran can only resist them but they certainly cannot match US military prowess. Now that Khomaeni has been killed, US has launched the first major salvo, we await the Iran's response.
