@ellduckison im really sorry you are feeling this way. I know sometimes nothing in life seems worth it but i promise you it wont feel like that forever. I had so much fun hanging out with you and you seem like such a great person. It is okay to try to just take one day at a time.

Now that I’m back home, I want to tell you a story: a year ago, someone who had no one to talk to about Kingdom Come dragged me into this world so they wouldn't be alone. I fell completely in love with this magical universe and started doing what I do best: writing and crafting cosplay. I created an OC named Alička and started writing her story. Then, last summer, the community centered around some of the KCD actors was born. The person who had introduced me to the game threw themselves into it, decided I wasn't enough anymore, and dumped me for them. It was a real trauma for me. For months, I couldn't bring myself to do anything, and I was terrified of anything related to KCD: I wanted to delete my writings, throw away my cosplay, and just forget about everything that had hurt me. But slowly, I managed to find a few crumbs of strength: I started working on Alička again, deciding to publish on AO3; I organized my trip to Rattay, even though I knew the person who dumped me would be there with their new (and "better than me") friends; I started interacting with the community that used to scare me, only to discover that they weren't the problem at all. And thanks to that community, I also found the courage to print a chapter of my upcoming fanfiction and bring it to Rattay. I handed it out to a few people (just a few, but it was a small first step), and in return, I received so much love and some absolutely stunning pieces of art. Alička’s journey will also have its "debut" soon (wish me luck so I can make it happen), completing my "rebirth" and my newfound determination. Because, as we all know, Audentes Fortuna Iuvat! Thank you everybody!
