I was singularly unimpressed by the @GMB attempted hatchet job on @Nigel_Farage just after 8.30 this morning. The presenters weren't asking him intelligent questions, just trying to bully and belittle him. They reminded me somewhat of hyenas. Shame on them.

Questions for Nigel Farage... I sent an email and got sent here... Does Nigel have a social housing policy? Will he rescind the no-fault eviction policy? Will he cap private rents? Will he tackle chaotic benefits bureaucracy? He'll get my vote anyway...

@GottCarl @man_like_mike2 When a vehicle hits another vehicle from behind, the insurer will point out that the driver of the rear car did not pay sufficient attention to what was ahead of them to avoid a collision. Only a fool breaks the two-second rule... remember?

@GottCarl @man_like_mike2 All drivers should be prepared for the unexpected and moderate their driving accordingly - the clue to who was at fault lies in the fact that the Lambo went into the back of the other vehicle... the fact that it was a cab doesn't affect the law.

@man_like_mike2 I presume you witnessed the accident personally and absolutely know whose fault it was ???? or could the taxi have pulled out in front of Lamborghini ???

@stancbgreen @man_like_mike2 Well Stan Green, I hope your words will come back to haunt you next time you need a cab and there aren't any around, unless you meant those fake taxis which are licensed to steal trade from the real ones.

Sadiq Khan certainly doesn't seem to give a hoot about public opinion. If true democracy has ever existed during my lifetime, I must have blinked and missed it. ~ Linnet Woods

Many are saying that if Sadiq Khan is London's best hope then London has no hope at all. I wonder whether those who are supposed to represent the views of their constituents have reached the point in their decadence where they no longer feel the need to even appear virtuous.

Some businesses are moving out of London, putting one set of people out of work but employing another. Many more, though, are simply closing down most of their operations and farming out tasks previously performed by their own employees to other companies.

Fares are getting harder to come by as Sadiq swamps the city with private hire vehicles which are unfettered by the endless rules and restrictions placed upon traditional cabs. Sadiq seems determined to bring London to a total standstill and it looks as though he may succeed.

Cabbies who have been obliged to sell off their vehicles because of age restrictions are now listening with mounting fury as Sadiq considers reversing those restrictions. A new black cab costs upwards of £100,000 these days. Renting a black cab costs around £12,500 per year.

I don't care what the virtually defunct 20th century media would have one believe - the facts are plainly visible to anyone who cares to look. Night workers living outside London must pay £12.50 to get in to work in the evenings and another £12.50 to get home in the mornings!

Ulez isn't helping now and won't do so at any point according to people whose expertise is being carefully ignored. This has everything to do with extracting funds from the public in the form of fines.

Sadiq himself is, of course, permitted to flout all London's traffic rules, with his security motorcade & thus either has no idea of the misery his actions are causing or perhaps simply doesn't care. All this has absolutely nothing to do with alleviating pollution - far from it!
