Casino License Revoked in Sihanoukville Scam Raid Cambodia's Commercial Gambling Management Commission has revoked the license for Casino Zhong Huawei Golden Sand International Entertainment in Sihanoukville, three weeks after a joint raid detained 104 foreign nationals and seized a warehouse worth of equipment. The April 8 operation, coordinated with the Sihanoukville Court of First Instance, the provincial Unified Command, and the National Police General Commissariat, pulled out 1,595 mobile phones, 30 all-in-one computers, 154 monitors, 64 CPUs, five routers, and five vehicles. CGMC says examination of the seized evidence confirmed the casino was running online scam operations. License No. 053 CGMG, held by Zhong Huawei (Cambodia) Entertainment Co., Ltd., was formally cancelled by Decision No. 034 dated April 30. To be honest, it's hard to look at the casino sector in Cambodia and believe any of these venues are running clean operations. Whether the building has one floor or six, one back office or twenty, something illegal is almost always sitting somewhere on the property. I'm not sure there's a single fully legitimate casino operating in this country.
