this is the flag of my longtime friend matthew, one of the other first generation seamusites, who together gathered under @SFascisti in 2020 to lay the groundwork for the resurgence of our worldview in the 21st century. the N bolt banner was designed, taking visual cues from the BUF's own bolt, to differentiate the seamusites' orthodox view on fascism from pretenders, and to distinguish us as a niche group when we were engaged in ideological work online and in the real world. in 2022, matthew's house caught fire and burned down. his family's life was turned upside down in an instant, and they lost most of their possessions. yet, animated by sudden courage and piety to the movement, matthew ran back into his home and hurriedly rescued the banner from the inferno, spiriting it to safety. the story immediately made the flag one of the most sacred relics of the seamusite movement; a story we would always go back to, a constant reminder of a moment of both great tragedy and audacious heroism. after matthew passed away from accidental causes in february 2025, the flag passed into the possession of his loved ones, and now hangs in the home of his boyfriend, himself a member of the movement. it will be preserved for many years to come, and an artifact to the earliest beginnings of our movement. When you see the arrows and yoke emblazoned, you immediately think of Rivera, and his Falange. It's without a doubt the only, and most egregious egotistical thing I will ever defend, but in a hundred years, I want someone to see the N Bolt and think, That's a movement inspired by Seamus'.
