So he can trip people with puddles. Or 2: He gets nervous enough that he doesn’t talk AT ALL to other heroes and it comes off very off-putting. People are starting to assume he is a straight up murderer and that his suit is bright colors and kind of goofy as an SDN rebrand.

I can see two things happening here: 1: other heroes meet waterboy and, based on what they see from his nervous personality and powers, assume it was minor offenses. There’s a rumor he was falsely accused. Someone thinks he might be faking his lack of control of his powers.

Okay so if everyone on the z team is former villains except waterboy and phenomaman, would other SDN heroes assume waterboy has committed up to and/or potentially murder. Like. They’d at least know phenomaman’s face and not assume. Herm though….
