📈| We have seen a lot of concern about the reccurent status on Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The rule established back in October is likely to apply to “Ophelia” and “Opalite” not because they aren’t performing well, they have spent 32 weeks on chart, it’s because they are falling below #25. The purpose is to let newer releases shine.
The re-entry will happened only at #50, it is still fully possible next week if US swifties continue streaming. On the other hand, “Elizabeth Taylor” will continue charting.

Billboards new recurrent rules for the Hot 100 are very stupid. But important to remember that the Global 200 doesn't have recurring rules, so Ophelia will stay there, and it's already the 25th biggest song of the decade there and still climbing.
Talk of the Charts@talkofthecharts
Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” is projected to go recurrent on next week's Billboard Hot 100. It would finish its US chart run as the 11th biggest solo female hit of the 2020s decade (#37 overall), according to current decade-end point estimates.
