I enjoy educating folks that DHCs didn’t in fact originate from Marvel Vs Capcom 2. Instead, they came from compromised PS1 ports of Vs games to make up for the lack of tag.

PSX versions of the Marvel VS series couldn't handle the 2v2 tag battle, so instead they offered some exclusive gameplay features, making these versions unique. In MVSF you could super cancel special moves , but also cancel supers by other supers, and even supers by team super!🤯
