San Antonio here, and while we’re not seeing it as fast as North Texas, I can feel the shift starting. And as someone whose roots go back before Texas was a Republic, great granddaughter of Andrés Benoît (Benito) Courbiere, I’m not shy about saying Texas deserves better. We have to pay attention and make sure we don’t lose the character this state was built on.

Not voting for Cornyn is the worse thing you can do for Texas. I’m no fan of his, trust me, but I will not skip voting and give a chance for Talarico to represent Texas. Texas is slowly becoming California. I see it every day… so many people from California, New York, Colorado moving here and bringing their politics with them. It sucks, I get it. But it can’t be worse than sitting out and not voting and allowing this guy to represent us.

@NEWSMAX If he wins, Im leaving Texas. I doubt very much if he will win but if Trump backs Cornyn a large majority of us will not vote in the primary in Nov., so he could.

@BrendanCarrFCC We also need to stop outsourcing medical billing to Pakistan and any other offshore countries. I own a consulting & billing firm and that is the main complaint I hear and as a patient, I don't like my info in some database offshore.

Americans get frustrated when they call a U.S. business and end up speaking with someone at a call center located in a foreign country. Language & communications barriers only make it harder for callers to get the results they want. So the FCC is seeking comment on several ideas that could help, including ✅ Facilitating the onshoring of foreign call centers ✅ Requiring operators at call centers to be proficient in American Standard English ✅ Further cracking down on illegal robocalls from abroad through the use of targeted tariffs or bonds. The FCC’s proposals focus on the call centers run by the communications providers regulated by the FCC. And could represent steps for the government to build on more broadly.

@adgirlMM Not cheating. Texas primaries need both parties to agree on countywide voting. Dallas GOP opted out months ago, so precinct only for both sides. Confusion hit Dems harder, but it was legal and notified in advance.

Just so everyone is tracking what's happening in Texas. The Republicans got their results in Dallas. No problem. The Democrats voting was paused, because KEN PAXTON asked the Texas Supreme Court to strike down the lower court's decision to keep the polls open. That could mean any votes cast between 7pm and 9pm may be in question, and it also means hundreds of people who turned out to vote WERE TURNED AWAY. This is VOTER SUPPRESSION. Fuck Ken Paxton. And get ready for this to happen all over the country in November. Republicans can't win, so they cheat.

@TRHLofficial I hope Texas can get it right, but as a Texan, I have seen a decline in conservatives and Republicans. We have a lot of people moving to Texas from California, NY, Colorado and so on and with that, they bring their Politics with them.

@TimHannan Texas offers free IDs for people over 60, low income veterans with service connected disabilities, and 18 year olds can get a free voting certificate if they do not have an ID.

I’m not opposed to voter ID as long as IDs are free, which they are not so the SAVE act is unconstitutional and clearly meant to stifle poor people from voting.
