Heartbroken to hear CHAT News has shut down. CHAT was my first job out of university. It’s a place where I fell in love with storytelling, made lasting connections, and gained confidence as a young professional. Sending love to the incredible people who worked there.

CHAT TV, my home for five and a half years, has shut down today after close to 70 years. I’m heartbroken, devastated and furious. So many talented people have lost their jobs, as well as a community relying on journalists telling their stories. Medicine Hat deserves better.
