Smart thinking from a woman I am blessed to call a friend: @hopeforhenry @lauriestrongin Remember, St. Jude isn’t the only children’s cancer charity in town washingtonpost.com/opinions/2023/…

@KathMSchmidt I am so sorry. I was there with my dog and like others have said, it was wrenching but I am so deeply grateful that mine was the last voice he heard and he knew he was safe. Whatever you do will be hard. Which do you think you'll least regret?

@juadams Simple... I typed the dang thing wrong. Of course it's "Big fish, small pond." Which is what he said... and what I thought I typed... I reread a thousand times, but when you expect words to be in a certain order... you see them that way. Fixing now. Thanks for the heads up!

@LavaForGood Who are you quoting here? (Trying to write a piece from afar... )
English

@Mary_Beth_Keane I have preordered -- which brings the joy of a gift you'd forgotten you'd already given yourself. See you in Montclair on the 6th...
English

@goodreads Okay, guilty, totally self-serving. But also, I am working on an adaptation now, and it's mind-bending to take your own work and reimagine it...
