Being a disingenuous, perky “Pollyanna” isn’t biblically defensible but dealing honestly with pain & disappointment is.

He wants us to come close. He wants us to draw near. He wants us to remember. He wants us to pause our busyness. He longs for our presence.

How about making a social media pinky promise to lean more fully into His presence today?

I wonder how much our hope & joy would grow if we began viewing difficulties & disappointments as the proverbial oysters God uses to buff the pearl of our inner character?
