A lesson on working with people: 🧵 My Mom is in hospice care. She’s at-home with terminal cancer and was asked by her doctors if she wanted an estimate on how much time she has left. She declined. We are taking things day by day.

She is discharged after 10 days in the hospital, she is showered, she is holding a squishy floof, and she is imploring you never to get pancreatitis and sludge in your bile duct and gallbladder surgery and a cervical cyst because those are all dumb and bad and extremely not fun
