@Delta your gate agents closed the door early for flight 3726 from FWA. 6 of us sitting here locked out. Stranded with our bags on plane and 2 dogs that I just paid to bring on board. Delayed getting to the gate because your system wasn’t working at check in. How will you fix it?

We have failed. No more thoughts and prayers when the next elementary school is shot up. No more statements at the firebombs at synagogues. No more shock and dismay when family neighbourhoods are targeted. The police are protecting these guys, not arresting them.

Earlier today I was honoured to attend a Challah Bake with friends from Toronto’s Jewish community and their allies. We came together in friendship and community the same day that a synagogue was targeted in Vancouver and the same week that schools in Toronto and Montreal were shot up. This is Canada. In Canada, Jews are supposed to live safely and free from fear. That’s not happening right now and until more allies stand up and make their voices heard nothing will change.
