If you ever want to check if a book is published/translated by an israeli publisher: 1. Go to the book’s Goodreads page. 2. Click on “book details & editions” It will open a section with page count and all the editions that have been added to Goodreads.

I think the only thing worse than writing abt israel positively, is working with an Israeli publishing house that works closely with the ministry of defense … which Emily Henry does, along with Madeline Miller, Carley Fortune, Alex Aster, and so many others

@hiraqueth I think for both of then it was never something they truly cared and held strong beliefs in, it was just something they thought they had to perform, like a mask they had to wear for brownie points and not a belief they were willing to be jeopardized for sustaining

To confirm that information (bc the problem isn’t the book being translated to Hebrew, it’s working with israeli companies) you’ll want to click on that translated edition, and go again on “book details & editions” there you should find the publisher and you can google the name.
