It’s just pretty clear Sae’s personality is being rude and blunt. But he does separate the soccer aspect of his life from his personal life. Sae’s words in the fight and u-20 match were said to instigate Rin further, hence why he doesn’t think it’s a big deal

Sae literally has the same pattern: first he says all those things to Rin on snow day, then sends him his match ticket, and in the U-20 match he does the exact same thing and then goes up to talk to him at the end like nothing happened… like bro has a bad memory 😭😭

@keiraamii my hc is two options: a) a creative career with a certain degree of “prestige” to appease his family. Art curator, classical music or a general fine arts degree. But he wouldn’t work in academia, he’d find a niche job and live in a gentrified expensive apartment b) chemistry
