Improvements are coming to parking lots and bike paths over the next month. At Sunset Park, the north and south parking lot sections along Miller Road will be replaced as will the lot at Lynn Dillow Park. Bike path resurfacing will occur along Miller and Grafton Farm Drive. 😃

Exactly 24 hours from now, the good times begin at our Public Works Open House! Meet the team, explore the trucks and learn about village-wide operations from 11 am to 2 pm. Take part in demos, tours and games while enjoying light refreshments and giveaways. See you there! 😃

Preparations are underway to open Indian Trail and Butch Hagele beaches on May 23! The Department of Health will inspect both beaches and take a water sample next week. Please watch social media on May 22 for our official confirmation. We appreciate your patience! 😎 #BeachSeason

Spot spraying of a herbicide to control broadleaf weeds is scheduled from Monday to Thursday, May 18-21, on all Village rights-of-way, weather permitting. Please do not enter a treated area until dry, which is 1 to 2 hours. We appreciate your cooperation! 🌿 #PesticideApplication

Reconstructed Jaycee Park next to the water tower reopened today! Temporary fencing will stay up as landscaping gets completed, but the park is ready for use. LITH resident Conor tested his strength on the new equipment. Go check it out! #ParkUpgrade #LoveYourPark #OutdoorVibes

Got documents that need shredding? Bring them to our Shred Day on May 16 from 9 am to noon at Public Works, 9010 Haligus Road. LITH residents can drop off two copier-paper-size boxes of any documents they want shredded. There are no fees for residents. #SecureShredding

Jaycee Park upgrades on Oakleaf Road by the water tower are expected to be complete by the end of next week! The new equipment will position the park as a state-recognized model for teen fitness and outdoor recreation. It includes safety surfacing suitable for outdoor fitness. 😄
