@Brett_327 @MuellerSheWrote We’re on the same side, but impeachment is a rake Democrats need to stop stepping on. They’ll never get 15-20 Republicans to cross the aisle. At this point, they might (40% chance) get Murkowski) & (10%) Paul. Then they lose & look like eunuchs, & the GOP claims exoneration.

@litprof2 @MuellerSheWrote I’m aware… easier sell for Blanche than Trump though. Any serious conversations about impeachment, remote as those chances may be, should go after the agency heads first. Could have a deterrent effect.

@Brett_327 @MuellerSheWrote Still need 67 senators to convict. That means 20 Republicans would need to cross the aisle. Zero chance of that happening. The Trump regime has completed its purge of the party.

@Dreadfroggy @MuellerSheWrote 67. Democrats have 45 seats, & King & Sanders who vote with them. Best case scenario they get to 50 after the midterms, so 15+ GOP senators would have to cross the aisle. I think Murkowski might; the rest are lickspittles. Impeachment is a rake Democrats need to stop stepping on.

@MuellerSheWrote Almost certainly, after the midterm elections if the Democrats achieve majority in the House of Representatives, Trump will be impeached. The sticking point will be trying to find 65 senators to convict him. Hopefully some Republicans come to their senses.

@yakapcsin @RachelBitecofer Do you think MLB approved this or even knew of it? These hateful idiots were kicked out of the stadium while people around made deservedly obscene gestures and yelled every insult they knew at them, as it should be.

@Shadetreecap @atrupar @DNC Utter fuckwittery. A charging station is a charger where you can charge a car. So according to your math, a site with one charging station would be just good as a site with 25. We’re obviously done here. I have only so much tolerance for idiocy.

@litprof2 @atrupar @DNC Original post said 8 charging stations A charging station is not a port. A charging station would have multiple charging ports So even if 68 charging stations is the number that is a lot closer to 8 than 400 Thanks for making my point as to incompetent leadership. Well done

Buttigieg on Sean Duffy: "I love roadtrips. I love America. I actually took a taxpayer-funded roadtrip lasted about 7 months. It was in Afghanistan. This is something very different. To make roadtrips unaffordable and then go around celebrating your own roadtrip is actually what people are so frustrated about."

@Shadetreecap @atrupar @DNC From the General Accounting Office: “As of April 2025, 384 charging ports are operating at 68 stations in 16 states” as a result of the program. 384 is pretty close to 400.

@litprof2 @atrupar @DNC Failed leadership. Program was ill conceived You are clueless at to the leader you are defending. Smooth talker but incompetent as south bend mayor. Added a few sidewalks but without ND money and them buying up property the place would be bankrupt Not 400…not close. Good try

@Shadetreecap @atrupar @DNC Money was made available the states to apply for. If the states chose not to apply, no money was wasted. Again, this was supposed to be for 10 years. You’re also wrong about the number. By the time Biden left office, almost 400 charging stations had been built under the program.

@RajuSah89413667 @DYoffee @RUSHMOREonX @MariaSharapova @Polymarket Williams had great opponents. Henin won 7 Grand Slam tournaments; Williams was only 7-6 against her in her career. She was 8-6 against Hingis. Williams is like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar & LeBron James: her peak lasted 15 years. “Greatest” arguments come down to peak vs. career value.

@litprof2 @DYoffee @RUSHMOREonX @MariaSharapova @Polymarket By logic that Serena should be out of mount rushmore because she didn't face any GOAT level of players like Graf, Martina, Evert in big slam finals . Peak Seles was better than anything Serena ever faced. WTA field post 2010 was absolutely garbage.

@Johnnypapa64 The most well-known ob-gyn in the city in which my wife grew up, Fairfax, Virginia, was named Dr. Harry Beaver. She didn’t go to him, but when I first saw the sign, I almost had to pull over. Also, my sister lived down the street from the office of a dentist named Toothman.

@Shadetreecap @atrupar @DNC Bullshit. The program was to reimburse states for charging stations built over the next ten years. The procedure was for the stares to contract with private companies to build them. Then they could apply for federal reimbursement. Most of that money has not been spent.

@atrupar What is more frustrating is a Cabinet member guy given $7.5 BILLION to create a charging station infrastructure and only created 7 or 8. Equally as frustrating is media like you letting him off the hook because you are a @DNC cheerleader Sure you will blame it on Trump

@thirty313 @atrupar Reagan killed the middle class. Trump and his entire regime are completing the transformation to full economic feudalism — a few lords and millions of serfs with a vanishingly small prospect of upward mobility.

@RajuSah89413667 @DYoffee @RUSHMOREonX @MariaSharapova @Polymarket I said it wasn’t her fault. But Evert and Navratilova had to face each other. Evert dominated early, then Navratilova, then Evert improved & made it a rivalry. Graf’s path was cleared by a psychotic fan, just as he intended. It sucks for everyone, Graf too, but it’s the reality.

In 70 seconds, Howard Hawks stages one of the most overtly sexual encounters censors would allow in The Big Sleep. Carmen (Martha Vickers), in ultra-short shorts, bites her lip, sucks her thumb, calls Marlowe (Bogart) “cute” and falls into his arms. This was dangerous back in '46

@JT_66_2025 @TheStingisBack Sometimes it seems as if that describes a third of the actresses in Hollywood between 1938 and 1970. Hey, Mickey, you know you can just date someone for a while, right? You don’t have to marry every one of them.
