@msafunk It’s been a game changer for us! It’s gotten them SO much more excited about writing. We bought super cute dollar store journals so that they would take more pride in their writing as well. It’s seemed to work wonders!

@msafunk We give students a topic, such as “things that make me happy”. They have to pick 3 things and take pictures of them. We then print them off and have them ready to go the next day, and they paste them in their journals & write about it!

We started doing photo journals with our literacy group in the mornings because we wanted them to start seeing themselves as writers. These kiddos didn’t even want to put pencil to paper before, and now they’re independently writing ❤️#pinkshoes #literacy

With all these questions and topics that are important to #yql citizens, I wonder why @karriflatla and @Alberta_UCP would choose not to attend. When I look at who would be best to represent the area I live, I question the resolve of those not here. #yqlvote
