@BrentToderian I really liked living in Louisville, KY where I lived in my late 20’s for the following reasons:
1. Could do most things without a car
2. Small town with decent urbanism
3. Affordable in my early days as planner
4. Eclectic and diverse demographics for young professionals

@yitgordon @rvalibrary @DPW_RichmondVA Only reason to require it is that curving sidewalks look interesting in plan view. Doesn’t make practical sense. Maybe a leftover of the garden city planning where streets were curvy. We’ve given that up for curvy sidewalks..

@WalkableDFW I hate it when people can control a lot of things as it pertains to their use of gasoline— where they live, where they work, type of car they drive and mode of transportation they choose but they constantly complain about the one thing they can’t control— the price of gas.
