On her 19th bithday Sophie Handford was named 2019 Wellingtonian of the Year. A Head Girl at Kāpiti College & now elected to Kāpiti Council, Sophie kick-started the NZ climate strikes, a huge wake up call for all NZers. She’s not one to watch, Sophie has well and truly arrived.
