The sexual revolution was a social movement that challenged traditional codes of behavior related to sexuality and interpersonal relationships throughout the developed Western world.

I was talking to a co-worker the other day about fatherless homes and the rise of broken families since the 70’s. Why will no one talk about why the family has taken a huge hit over the past 50 years?

Statistics say that people who participate in hookup culture or casual sex increases the chances of divorce between twofold and threefold.

God sets things the way they are to protect us and to set us up for success. He knows better than we do and knows that hookup culture will bring nothing but pain and suffering. The family is crucial to a nation. Without it a nation cannot stand.

As a society of course we have to evolve and keep up with the times. No one is perfect, we are going to make mistakes surrounding sex and sexuality. But evolving and growing should never result in disregarding morality and truth.

But what was the result of this? STD’s, broken families, pornography addiction, broken hearts, children outside of marriage, divorce, abortion, infidelity, and cohabitation.

At the core of the sexual revolution was the concept that women and men enjoyed sex and had sexual needs outside of just marriage or commitment. It was the idea that people didn’t have to abide by sexual morality and could do their own thing with no consequences….
