In my Lectio365 prayer this morning, the poem "In Flanders Fields" by John McCrae was highlighted. I thought I'd share it here.

You’ve probably never heard of John Teele. You likely have no idea what he just accomplished. But he modeled to the organization he leads how to have impact on what breaks your heart in the world.
John heard about the injustice of human trafficking and wanted to do something about it. So he and some friends rode bicycles from Pensacola, FL to New York City to do more than raise awareness. They raised money, which will have impact on children, women, and men who have real names and real lives oppressed by modern slavery.
John so far has raised more than $110,000. He is preserving and unlocking freedom with Hope for Justice and Slave-Free Alliance.
What if you led your company to impact one of the world’s greatest injustices? What if you gave your employees the freedom to unlock freedom for those who need it?

Fundraising without a strategy is like Chuck Norris without a roundhouse kick—technically possible, but way less effective.
I created an everyday-activity, coaching GPT for our fundraising team called "Coach FUNd." It's loaded with helpful tools from our stories, brand, CRM, advancement manual, etc. It's been both helpful and fun.
I set it up to end each response with a dad joke or a Chuck Norris joke. This was the latest one, so I thought I'd share.

Lexi went to be with Jesus on early Sunday morning.
After a long five months of battling illness and infections, she was finally overcome. She was a fighter to the very end, and the care team made sure she was comfortable as she came to peace.
We thank everyone near and far for loving on us and praying for Lexi. We are blessed beyond words.
