Many industries will take a dive during this recession I believe solar will continue to thrive for a few reasons: 1. Homeowners need to save money more than ever and if Solar savings weren’t appealing enough in the past they will be now 2. Utility prices are skyrocketing around the country. As the electrical grid decays and power plants are shut down the cost of energy will continue to increase. The need will grow for homeowners to protect themselves from these rate increases on a bill they can’t otherwise avoid. 3. No investment needed. Solar is one of the few options for homeowners to save money without cutting back on their lifestyle and without paying any money out of pocket. Finance options exist for customers to get solar installed with $0 out of pocket and will see immediate savings when their system is activated. Overall even with tough financial times Solar will be a viable product both to purchase and to sell. Make sure you position yourself in a recession proof industry before it’s too late.

Solar truly is a win - win - win. Never seen or heard anything like that in sales. Nothing greater than Homeowner having a smile on their face when they see you on install day. You walking away with a chunk of change. Net gain for the company / planet as well.
