We will definitely not enjoy 2026-2027. Polymarket. Hyperliquid. Europoor. Starlink.

Mood: given how tense things (like, ALL things) are right now heading into 2027 (the year of THE BAD), it's very unlikely that nothing happens. Therefore, simply bet YES on every risky+doomer market and get rewarded. Let's quote this tweet @ EoY. Also, my IQ is abt <80 lol.

Most insane/worrying(?) graph I have seen lately; if you discount some other Asian countries, such as the Indonesian Rupiah, which is basically at a discovery price. 😅

I have to admit this one teases me so much because we might reach it in a single daily candle, when(if) it happens. 😅 I am not made to suffer.😶‍🌫️

Ok so in my opinion: Midnight Hammer was the real confirmation that "nothing ever happens" has topped (very popular on X during 2025 lol), though I get why others would point to Russia/Ukraine as the actual start… Whatsoever, Venezuela right after just confirmed it further for me. Totally think we shouldn't lean on the previous generation telling us "nothing ever happens”; cuz simply zoom out on history and they just had a lucky run, not some universal law. The closer we get to 2027, the crazier the world seems to get. My take: China might not be able to keep playing the pacifist card much longer, wouldn't be surprised to see more moves from them in the coming months (The PH being the ideal first WEAK target to test the reactions.. it was an obvious pick for me); but also that explains I also got some Japan x China earlier this year! Anyway.. Not an expert at all, just didn't wanna have regrets not sizing it up and if nothing have happened, would have taken again the end of 2027+ deadline until my PoV would change, after all I’m just offering bonds. 🤷 PS: As you can see from this account posts, I feel like nobody's really ready to face what's coming, directly or indirectly and that’s NORMAL behaviour I’d say; even if it seems obvious to me. CONO SUR is your best friend, IMO.

After a quick analysis, it appears that nearly all YES shares are concentrated in the hands of a single trader. And he is clearly not an insider, but rather a geopolitics enthusiast. As a result, I bought 10k NO shares at 79c. I believe that's an excellent price for this event, considering the market was trading at 85–90c just a month ago and is currently being held at this level by a single degen.

While searching for another bond, I stumbled across the China x Philippines military clash market. Traders are assigning a massive 22% probability to this event. What's interesting is that the market was created back in November last year, yet the odds have remained virtually unchanged throughout that entire period. I don't know what would have to happen, but someone is clearly buying YES and supporting this price for a very long time.

Why do some cities work... while others suck? I'm in Panama 🇵🇦 for a few days, for the first time Walking around the city, I keep thinking about something that's been on my mind for a while Panama reminds me so much of other Caribbean cities... Santa Marta, Cartagena... They have the same climate and vibe. The same food. Same colonial Spanish roots But Panama actually works ✅ The streets are clean ✅ The infrastructure functions (the roads really impressed me) ✅ You can walk around at night without constantly looking over your shoulder ✅ People don't f*cking blast music at every hour of the day like in the Colombian coast ✅ Things get done Cartagena and Santa Marta? Amazing food & incredible people... But they're also chaotic, dirty, extremely run down, and more than a bit sketchy in many areas What's the difference? I've been asking myself this question in different forms Why does Buenos Aires feel like a proper European city... clean, walkable, relatively safe, with incredible architecture and culture... While São Paulo, just a few hours away, is completely different? Junkie camps everywhere. Extreme inequality. You need armed guards and bulletproof cars if you're wealthy Both are massive South American cities. Both have waves of European immigration. Both have access to resources But the outcomes couldn't be more different Is it genetics? Culture? Political systems? Honestly... I don't know The genetics argument makes people uncomfortable, but it's hard to ignore patterns when you see them repeatedly The culture argument feels more palatable, but then you have to ask... where does culture come from? And why do some cultures produce functional cities while others don't? The political system argument is probably the most popular one Panama has been relatively stable and business-friendly for decades. That matters But then you look at countries with similar political structures and wildly different outcomes My guess? It's all of it It's not one thing. It's a combination of historical factors, institutions, culture, geography, economic incentives, and yes... probably the genetic makeup of the population through centuries of different selection pressures But nobody wants to say that last part out loud What I do know is this: some cities work and others don't And as someone who spends their life moving between them, you start to notice the patterns ✅ Panama works better than Cartagena ✅ Buenos Aires works better than São Paulo ✅ Montevideo works better than Guayaquil These aren't judgments on the people btw. I've met incredible people in every single city I've mentioned But the systems? The infrastructure? The day-to-day functioning of society? Massive differences And if we're serious about helping places improve, we need to be honest about what actually makes cities work Even if it makes people uncomfortable
