Lloydminster XTREME Jr B lacrosse

Last graduating player is a force to be reckoned with,not much can stop Dalyn when he gets the ball and heads for the net. Dalyn plays hard and celebrates harder. We have enjoyed watching Dalyn somehow find the net from impossible angles, all good things must come to an end!

Larrin come to defend and did so with force and tenacity.He thrived on the physicality of the sport and made his presence felt on the floor.We sure wish we had him as a defender longer,but sometimes you have to take what you can get.It was a pleasure having him!

Thank you to Jayden,who didn’t just play the game but elevated it.You have always been silent on the celly but loud on the scoreboard.You not only set the bar in our record books but also made a mark in the RMLL. The impact you made will last forever!

To our vets…Over the years we have watched Ryker grow as a goalie perfecting his craft,and it’s been nothing short of spectacular.Sought after by others in the game of lacrosse,he stayed loyal to us and we couldn’t be more grateful.Thank you for your years of commitment to us!

The Most Valuable Player is the scoring machine, Jayden Plamondon! A smart,patient, fifth year player who plays the game with a poker face.A sneaky guy who can quietly put the ball in the net without you knowing.He has grown tremendously. His presence will be missed.

The Coaches award went to Ryker Gamble! Ryker was reliable game after game. Not many people are harder on Ryker than himself, the few times his game was off, he was the first to admit it. No bragging, no boasting, just a humble guy who always thinks he can do better. #backbone

The Most Valuable Defensemen for us was once again Brady Gamble! Brady was a force to reckoned with all season long. The kid doesn’t slow down, he was there defending in front of his brother Ryker and the next second down the floor with the ball.

Rookie goes to Blake who not only has a wicked shot,but he knows when it’s needed most and makes it count. He proved this to be true more than once our provincial weekend, solidifying gold for the boys in the final minutes of the game to take a 9-8 lead.

Our MIP went to Nate Fischer. Although not new to the team,he upped his game this year, quick footwork paired with brute strength helped get him to in front of the net possession after possession.He really started picking corners which solidified him as MIP and he’s not done yet!

Awards banquet was Sept.9 Starting with our captain Owen Hill, chosen by the players, he was the recipient of the Players Choice award. First season wearing the ‘C’ saw great success for Owen, he is key in both our defensive zone and transition game
