In Ireland, what maintenance is usually included in property management fees? My dad pays over a grand a year, and seemingly, it's just to have his grass cut. Is this normal?

I think we're the only business in Ireland who self impose a 2% "tax" that we give to good causes. We donate 2% of ALL you spend with us. We also roast coffee really well. If you need coffee this week you might think of us. If you don't, tell a friend. imbibe.ie/shop/

Spotted the Anastasia Beverley Hills Modern Renaissance palette on sale in Arnotts for €25.25-didn’t buy it then went back to get it and it was gone! I love this palette & am absolutely raging now that I didn’t buy it straight away #firstworldproblems #makeupfanatic.

@paddycosgrave Yes but who polices that, as a policy it's super vague and accepting nothing or up to certain value would be better, e.g. €50

I’d like to see RTE’s “gifting & entertainment” policy. At Web Summit our policy states: “You cannot accept a gift or hospitality from a third party if you know or suspect it is offered or provided with an expectation that a business advantage will be provided by us in return”

Some important research here. Anybody any ideas?
Ed Hands@GovernmentArtis

@dublinbypub would you know what pub in Dublin has the shortest lines? ie. shortest distance from keg to tap? Question relates to Guinness 🙂

@constanceshortc In my (admittedly limited) experience, the younger generation are more onboard with sobriety than we were.

Passed Michael’s College today and saw all the flowers. Can’t find the words for how it went through me. As parents, we have to raise our kids to be independent, brave and take chances; but really it’s us who have to to be brave to let them go. This is our worst nightmare. 😔

@neasa_neasa Surely all these state bodies need governance reviews at this stage, there could be template created of the basics every organisation needs , mind you they all have hr departments but no staff contracts!
