The new year is upon us! Our teams will be taking some time off this week but don't worry - our hospital and Emergency Department are open 24/7. We’re always here if you need us!

The weekend is here! Is there a holiday party on the calendar? Before you head out the door, eat something healthy at home. This might help fill you up and curb your desire to eat too many not so healthy treats. But...we think a @LittleDebbie Christmas tree is totally fine.

With the holiday hustle and bustle, you might be tempted to skimp on sleep. Try to keep your normal routine up as much as possible. Go to bed and get up at the same times. And if you need to, take a nap! #HealthyHolidays

Holiday gatherings often involve close contact with many people, including those who have colds or other illnesses. To protect yourself as best you can, make sure to wash your hands frequently. Where there’s no access to soap and water, use hand sanitizer. #HealthyHolidays

Incorporate a little exercise into your holiday shopping! Park as far away from the door as possible. Once you're inside, take a lap or two around the perimeter of the store before you start your shopping extravaganza. #HealthyHolidays

Since 2007, The Jayhawk Cafe has supported more than $85,000 in mammogram vouchers for low-income women who are uninsured or underinsured. LMH Health Foundation is grateful for this gift to ensure every woman age 40 and older has access to regular screening mammograms.
