- Lost Iñigo Martínez before the season started and a replacement was not signed. - Shifted Gerard Martin to centre-back. - Ferran Torres had a 4 month long goal drought and Lewandowski showed clear signs of decline. - Raphinha has started 17/33 matches. - Pedri has started 20/33 matches. - Frenkie de Jong has started 16/33 matches. - Lamine Yamal had to deal with pubalgia and he is injured now. - Gavi has hardly played this season. - Bernal started only one game before 2026 and now has been out for almost a month. - Christensen has barely played. - Even Joan García missed 6 games through injury. - Kounde and Balde also had periods of injury problems and bad form. - Cancelo arrived only in January and it took him some time to gain form. - The only outfield player signed on a permanent deal before the season was a back-up winger who himself was coming off a serious injury. DESPITE EVERYTHING BARCELONA ARE CURRENTLY LEADING LA LIGA BY 11 POINTS WITH JUST 5 MORE GAMES LEFT AND ARE ON COURSE FOR A 90+ POINT SEASON, POSSIBLY EVEN 100. 🤯
