Rewatching @wandavision and this line still gets me. Watching after finishing Agatha All Along gives me a different perspective to Agatha's actions and her connection to Wanda.

I began reading Odder by @kaaauthor and playing @MontereyAq otter cam in the background while reading. It's been a great way to connect the text to a visual representation when many of my students haven't seen otters in real life. Calm vibes during reading. #cpsbest

Mini Ag Week! We clean up our pumpkin/corn field. Ss harvested what was left and worked to clean up the field. We went to corn fest and tried so many corn treats made by our 5th graders, and finished the day with fishing. #cpsbest #prairieproud

I saw The Wild Robot with 3rd graders and their families. The whispers began early with comparison to the book by @itspeterbrown and then continued after it was over. Ss recommended their families read the book to get the full picture of Roz. Lovely 🎥, 📚 is always better.

After reading The Wild Robot our class hatched chicks. Ss told others "to hold them carefully, like Roz holds Brightbill" 😍 We started book 3 today and Ss are making fantastic connections to our study of keystone species. Thank you for your beautiful 📚 @itspeterbrown

We had an amazing field trip to @ColumbiaUrbanAg last week. Ss were able to watch pollination occur right in front of them. This luffa was a perfect example of the life cycle of a plant after pollination. #cpsbest #PrairieProud #PlaceBasedLearning

@itspeterbrown @Dreamworks We kicked off our school year reading The Wild Robot so we could see the movie together. Although the movie looks great, the book is always better. Halfway through The Wild Robot Escapes now and my 3rd graders beg me to keep reading every day.
English

Is it petty of me to keep repeating that this beautiful movie by @Dreamworks is based on my book? The team of artists + animators + designers did an outstanding job + I want people to know that my book was the inspiration! Is that wrong? This is all new for me! #thewildrobot

It's pretty awesome to walk up to your school and see fall decorations that were picked from the garden that the students planted in the springtime. The next adventure will be to find natural ways to protect against the squash bugs #cpsbest #Ag #PlaceBasedLearning #PrairieProud

We went on a walk to explore the prairie and the pond this morning. It was great to sit and listen to nature together and share our observations. #PrairieProud #cpsbest

English

When you go to a school with an Ag focus of course you visit the garden on the first day. My new 3rd graders were excited to see the growth from what was planted in the spring. #PrairieProud #cpsbest #GrowingTheFuture

@MsPinkBehavior Thanks for the heads up, I just ordered it!

I’m looking forward to getting this on my TBR book pile. 📚 Check it out, preorder now (or closer to payday), and delve into how we educators can meet the needs of all students. 🤩

@LaurieHernandez You make watching the Olympics so much fun!

@thelensthinkers I wonder if it's because our grading standards have too many standards combined within them. It's really hard to be cut and dry on an area of grading when you've combined so many standards into a single point. I would rather have them pulled apart into the individual standards.
