Make Lightning the default in Chivo wallet and all ATMs. Make Chivo support LNURL-pay, LNURL-withdraw and Lightning Address. Make interoperability with the Bitcoin ecosystem a priority. Only then can El Salvador live up to its nickname Bitcoin Country. Thank you and God bless.

I visited El Salvador in 2021 shortly and in 2023 extensively together with my wife and kids. The massive improvements in the security situation were palpable across the country. No idea how Bukele admin managed to free their people from the chokehold of the gangs, but they did.

Congratulations to @nayibbukele for winning the mandate from the Salvadoran people with an overwhelming democratic majority of 85% to continue his presidency for another 5 years. The positive change his administration has brought to El Salvador is undeniable.

@ohskogstrom 1/ It turns out that the closing transaction hung for 4 weeks (most likely it was closed automatically on my part, since the channel was not used for a long time). To speed up the closing, I just created a CPFP transaction and pulled the hanging closing transaction by the anchor.

Ok, this is super cool! You gotto love it when people save in #Bitcoin! Sizwe is the owner of the @GlobalBTCFest shack that we painted in January.
