Welp, given recent news of the rules becoming effective in January I’ll be deleting all of my art from here, I wanted to keep the archive up even if I didn’t post, but honestly, I’m not standing by this.

To everyone considering getting out of here when DMs get abolished, I’m still Loafleyy on the better site!

@Pikapower98 Yeah I get that, personally I would be very peeved by my art being mistakenly labeled as AI, and I really think this app is slowly getting ruined, so I do think building somewhere else on the side would be a good call but it’s all up to personal preference and opinions!

@loafleyy To be honest with you, I’m not threatened by AI. It just puts so much unnecessary strain on our mental health being overblown as this big imposing force that’s going to somehow stop us from creating or take clients away from us. It’s all fear mongering.

@Pikapower98 I more so meant the part where X is literally marking actual artists work as creating with Grok, I’d definitely recommend starting to cross post if your income is reliant here, I just really can’t see this site not getting significantly worse,,,

@loafleyy I get what you’re trying to say, but that’s not feasible for the artists whose income comes from this platform. And besides, it doesn’t really matter where you post AI scrapes from all over the web no platform is walled garden.
