Friends, today I celebrate my 40th anniversary as a priest. These past decades—almost two-thirds of my life—have been joyful indeed, and I have never once regretted my decision to become a priest. The priesthood has taken me all over the world and deep into the hearts of people I’ve been privileged to serve. Thank you for your prayers and support over these many years. Please continue to pray for me and all priests, and know of my continued prayers for you.

@SamanthaRedeemd I’m a lector and part of a team that tends to the altar (changing candles, holy water stoups…) along with all of the plants in our church. We have a lot of plants and trees to care for!

What kind of volunteer work do you do at your parish? I’m excited to dive deeper into BDC and have done VBS, Fish Fry, youth group, and 1st Communion retreat before. Would love to hear your experiences!
