Seems clear that if #HS2 isn't built in full ☢️All roads in the UK wil gridlock ☢️All Northerners will lose 20 IQ points ☢️Our teeth will fall out ☢️Gammy leg will return ☢️Only bread and dripping for us tea. 😎Starmer must make it his number One priority #spendspendspendonHS2

I will always make decisions that are in the national interest. It’s why we aren’t getting dragged into the Middle East conflict, and why we are fighting to protect your living standards. And while opposition parties have responded by dividing communities, we respond with hope and pride. Pride in our communities, and the hope of a country that’s better for our children. That’s what we’re fighting for. Vote Labour on Thursday 7 May.

@local_man_ @mattzarb Fleecing the public when you have a smokescreen is also a thing. The price of wheat dropped but the price of bread remained high. Once it goes up it stays irrespective of costs. Supermarkets collude also to keep prices up, maximise shareholders profits over feeding ppl.

@lexmchv @thomasforth Tom pretends to not understand confounding, he just compares unlike things then jumps to some preconceived conclusion that backs up a quango that pays him.

@thomasforth I thought you're a head of data? Surely you must have some clue about confounding factors and multiple causes to an observed phenomenon? Because seems like not from your tweet

Let's be clear: London: no rent control -> 5k housing starts (-30%). Paris: rent control -> 50k housing starts (+14%). "Rent control is a better way to destroy cities than dropping bombs on them." > is brainrot and I don't even support rent control.
Crémieux@cremieuxrecueil

Let's be clear: Spain: enacts rent control -> no more homes Argentina: ends rent control -> tons of new homes Rent control is a better way to destroy cities than dropping bombs on them.

rNHS Same thing⬇️ “Strength Through Joy” ~ nicking that The waiting list for Adolf Hitler's "People's Car" (Volkswagen Beetle) in Nazi Germany was a fraudulent scheme where hundreds of thousands of Germans paid into a savings plan but never received their vehicles Key details about the KdF-Wagen (Kraft durch Freude-Wagen) waiting list include:  •The Scheme: Initiated by the Nazi-led "Strength Through Joy" organization (KdF), citizens made down payments and weekly contributions of 5 marks to a savings book. •Scale of Interest: Roughly 336,000 to over 400,000 people registered for the plan, with many paying it off completely. •The Outcome: Almost no civilian vehicles were delivered. Production was halted due to World War II, and resources were immediately redirected from civilian cars to military vehicles. •Financial Misuse: The money collected was not set aside for the cars but was instead used by the Nazi state to build the Wolfsburg factory and for other state expenditures. •Aftermath: After the war, Volkswagen did not honor the old accounts, though they did offer a discount to some who had paid for cars years later.

The Sun is a disgusting rag and they have to pay for what they’ve done to Huw Edwards. They tried to destroy someone’s life with false claims of illegality involving a minor. We know now there was no criminality, and The Sun have driven a vulnerable man into medical care.

@Ella_M_Whelan @TimesRadio The stuttering by the presenter is a dead giveaway. It's difficult sometimes for them to remember the rules of the mental prison they have built.

@Ye_Olde_Holborn The Isle of Man has a top income tax rate of 22%, no capital gains tax and no corporation tax. Not possible to tip up and claim benefits so none of the envious 'fair share' Marxists. No tall poppy syndrome. Looking better by the day.

@JohnCleese Because he is a paid actor playing the new opposition. He came out of nowhere, started leading the Green Party, and magically began polling second in all polls. It’s a massive red flag.
