F-4E is probably my favorite plane in this whole game. I wanted to make a kill montage last year about it, but I lost my patience over it. Still have a bunch of clips lying around tho, like this clutch up.

@ballistic_berri You need to keep the lock for it to work. Once your lock is gone, the sparrow will go stupid

@lockhmt My missiles never do this , I need to stop spamming ACM and just let lock them normally , seems to be better

The radar missiles on the F-4E seem to quite literally have a mind of their own, i made an edit about it ages ago...

@ballistic_berri Plus, for whatever reason, the F-4E has a weird IOG to it. If you lock a guy and it starts tracking chaff, the sparrow will just keep tracking since that's the biggest radar cross-section around This works at longer ranges too, not just in this clip

@ballistic_berri The F-4E radar is surprisingly controllable imo, you just need to be patient with it. Like 9 times out of 10 i usually go with manually locking targets on my radar instead of spamming ACM since I've had perfect scenarios where the ACM just fails me completely

@CaptainovShips Lmfao thats hilarious, i genuinely havent had the same issue with the later versions of the sparrow. Its literally only the E-2 Dogfights that pull those insane moves lol.

@lockhmt You have no clue how bad it gets, I had one ascend to being an ARH missile, go around a mountain, and hit a friendly I couldn't see (I have no clue what mess of radar noise managed to cause that).
