Woke up early for work this morning and been looping this so much. The riffs and atmosphere are just so dense, completely unreasonable for anyone to make music this good. Easily my favourite DM release this year, potentially AOTY.

Thought the first album was decent but never really meshed with it as much as everyone else did. However, this second album by Blackbraid is a complete step up and is one of my fav black metal records I've heard in years, I'm fully aboard the Blackbraid train now

@LDFades There's been a decent amount of good DM but only Carnosus and Ulthar come close to how sick last year was for me

Saw Dying Fetus along with Frozen Soul, Cabal and Nasty in Bristol on Sunday. Absolutely loved the shows, pit was unreal

I'm gonna release a few other lists in the next few days, but this has to come out as the new year approaches. This is my ranked Top 50 AOTY list. It's been really sick to see what others have picked and hoping that 2023 will be as grand as this year has been.
